Congressional Candidate Sean Flynn has earned the endorsement of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Employee Benefit Association (SEBA), which is the union that represents San Bernardino County Sheriff Deputies.
Flynn is running against Democratic incumbent Pete Aguilar in California’s 31st District. The endorsement represents a shift away from SEBA’s past support of Rep. Aguilar.
SEBA President Grant Ward stated, “San Bernardino County is faced with mounting crime as a result of weakened regulations on criminals. Sean’s tough on crime stance and unwavering support of our organization, and of all local law enforcement personnel, have earned him our endorsement. We are proud to support his campaign for Congress.”
“Public safety is a top priority in my campaign for Congress,” said Flynn. “Our communities are suffering because soft on crime legislators continue imposing their philosophies on the people of California. Rather than passing legislation that holds dangerous criminals and repeat offenders accountable, they are releasing these individuals back into our neighborhoods. I’m honored to have the endorsement of SEBA and its membership, and I want to thank all of our local public safety personnel for their tireless efforts towards keeping our families safe.”
In addition to the SEBA endorsement, Flynn has earned endorsements from the Fontana Police Officers Association, Congressman Paul Cook, State Senator Mike Morrell, and County Supervisors Robert Lovingood, Curt Hagman, and Janice Rutherford.
