San Bernardino, Calif.– In response to the attempted acts of terrorism targeting President Obama, Secretary Clinton, CNN, and others, Sean Flynn, Republican candidate for the 31st Congressional District, issued the following statement:
“These despicable acts of terrorism have no place in the United States or anywhere else in the world,” said Flynn. “I condemn these attempted bombings and I urge the President and our federal agencies to act swiftly to bring these terrorists to justice.”
“One of the great gifts of our American democracy is that we can express our differences with words without resorting to violence. I, like the vast majority of Americans, vigorously oppose the suppression of free speech in any form, but especially through acts of terrorism like we witnessed yesterday. I will keep those targeted by these attacks in my prayers. I cannot imagine what they must be going through. This is a moment for Americans from all walks of life to stand united in our joint opposition to threats and violence.”
The 31st Congressional District includes all or portions of Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana, San Bernardino, Highland, Redlands, Loma Linda, Grand Terrace, Colton, and Rialto.
The General Election is on Tuesday, November 6. For more information on the Flynn campaign go to www.SeanFlynnforCongress.com
