Upland, CA – The Sean Flynn for Congress campaign today announced the endorsement of Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (CA-48), the Chairman of the Europe, Eurasia, and Emerging Threats Subcommittee of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs
“Sean is a very intelligent and hard-working person who has a great vision for the future of his district and the nation,” said Congressman Rohrabacher, a former Reagan speechwriter.
Congressman Rohrabacher joins a growing list of prominent California Republican Party notables who have endorsed Sean including Orange County Board of Supervisor Michelle Steel, Dr. Tirso del Junco, the former Chairman of the California Republican (CRP), and former Chairman of the CRP and President of the California Republican Assembly Mike Schroeder. The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has alsodesignated Sean as one of 11 “On the Radar” candidates, the first level of the committee’s Young Guns program, for the 2016 election cycle.
“Congressman Rohrabacher was at the forefront of the revolution led by Ronald Reagan and is the kind of partner I am eager to work with if I am fortunate enough to earn the trust of this community to represent them in Congress,” said Flynn. “Dana knows better than anyone how broken Washington is and I will fight hard every single day to do everything I can to earn the opportunity to fight with him to move our country forward and actually get things done!”
Sean completed a B.A. in economics at USC before going on to complete a Ph.D. in economics at U.C. Berkeley. Recognizing that unemployment in San Bernardino is far above the national average, Sean became a founding board member of Employment Means Success, an Inland Empire non-profit that finds jobs for discouraged and disabled workers.
